Flyte Valve / Bulk Loader
T E C Flyte Valve / Bulk Loader
The T E C Bulk Loader Coupling Valve is a major improvement on existing Fuel Couplings.
Here at T E C, we have taken the existing coupling, and, by careful engineering, reduced the number of parts. This makes the coupling far more reliable, easier to manufacture, and easier to maintain. This new design allows one coupling to be used on different train sets.
For the operator, there is a major improvement - extended body length! This ensures that the hands are fully away from the train body, ending the problem of trapped fingers and scraped knuckles when refueling.
In line with the Bulk Loader, a breakaway unit should be employed, this ensures the safe fuel shut-off, should a drive-away occur. We offer these either as a replacement for existing units or as part of a Bulk Loader / Breakaway set.
The Bulk Loader Coupling Valve outer body is manufactured from high-grade stainless steel. This combined with a brass internal sleeve gives the Bulk Loading Valve the ability to withstand the harsh treatment encountered in its natural environment. The internal operating spring is locked into its location point to ensure the correct operation of the piston on each connect/disconnect. The main seals are manufactured from Viton® to ensure a perfect, hard-wearing, seal.

The extended handle allows the operator to keep knuckles clear of the train body when refueling.
Added space allows for better grip and leverage when connecting and disconnecting.
"One vale fits all" This version connects to all DMU bodies
Smooth connecting plate, with central recessed fixing screw, locked in place with a lock nut, to prevent release due to vibration.
A reduced number of components makes for increased performance, reduced breakdowns, and easier servicing when required.
Slug design improves the flow of fuel to give decreased loading time.
COMPETITORS
The short-length handle makes it difficult for the operator to connect to some DMUs. Causes knuckle bruising.
Short handle length does not clear the training body.
Does not fit all DMU bodies.
As a result of vibrations, the 4 fixing screws can loosen and cause leakage when in use.
Numerous components add to problems of performance, breakdowns, and leakage.
Castellated design reduces fuel flow and increases loading time.
Pricing is very competitive, compared to the existing valve, and we look forward to demonstrating the benefits of the T E C Bulk Loading Valve in your application.
