T E C Flyte Valve / Bulk Loader

The T E C Bulk Loader Coupling Valve is a major improvement on existing Fuel Couplings.

Here at T E C, we have taken the existing coupling, and, by careful engineering, reduced the number of parts. This makes the coupling far more reliable, easier to manufacture and easier to maintain. This new design allows one coupling to be used on different train sets.

For the operator, there is a major improvement - extended body length! This ensures that the hands are fully away from the train body, ending the problem of trapped fingers and scraped knuckles, when refuelling.

In-line with the Bulk Loader, a breakaway unit should be employed, this ensures the safe fuel shut off, should a drive-away occur. We offer these either as a replacement for existing units or as part of a Bulk Loader / Breakaway set.

The Bulk Loader Coupling Valve outer body is manufactured from high grade stainless steel. This combined with a brass internal sleeve gives the Bulk Loading Valve the ability to withstand the harsh treatment encountered in its natural environment. The internal operating spring is locked into its location point to ensure the correct operation of the piston on each connect / disconnect. The main seals are manufactured from Viton® to ensure a perfect, hard wearing, seal.

COMPETITORS

Extended handle allows operator to keep knuckles clear of train body when refuelling.

Short length handle makes it difficult for the operator to connect to some DMU's. Causes knuckle bruising.

Added space allows for better grip and leverage when connecting and disconnecting.

Short handle length does not clear the traing body.

"One vale fits all" this version connects to all DMU bodies

Does not fit all DMU bodies.

Smooth connecting plate, with central recessed fixing screw, locked in place with a lock nut, to prevent release due to vibration.

As a result of vibrations, the 4 fixing screws can loosen and cause leakage when in use.

Reduced number of components makes for increased performance, reduced breakdowns and easier servicing when required.

Numerous components add to problems of performance, breakdowns and leakage.

Slug design improves flow of fuel to give decreased loading time.

Castellated design reduces fuel flow and increases loading time.

Pricing is very competitive, compared to the existing valve, and we look forward to demonstrating the benefits of the T E C Bulk Loading Valve in your application.
